Your Cottage
for 2, 3 or 5 people
in Cancale
COTTAGE
Ker Neizh, “the nest” in Breton, is above all a family home. We welcome our 5 children, our family, friends and guests.
We’ve designed this cottage to make you feel at home: at home with us and totally independent. It’s our way of welcoming you with maximum freedom.
A space of around 60 m² awaits you: on the ground floor, a bedroom, a shower room, the sitting area and the kitchen, which look out onto the terrace, the garden and the surrounding woodland, at the start of the flower meadow that takes you to the centre of Cancale.
Upstairs, on the mezzanine, is a large bedroom under the roof, with two beds to accommodate your grown-up children or a couple of friends.
THE ROOMS
After a busy day, you’ll appreciate the comfort of the rooms we’ve prepared for you.
On the ground floor, we’ve selected mattresses made in Quimper by Valentin for a 160 cm queen-size bed, a Pyrenex duvet and carefully chosen Lestra pillows to provide you with different levels of comfort.
We’ve also chosen to surprise you with the customisable lighting at the head of the bed. Can you find the 7 possible settings?
Upstairs, we’ve prepared 2 sleeping areas for you: a 90 cm single bed and a 140 cm double bed, behind our all-glass balustrade, offering you a magnificent glimpse of our chandelier collection.
So you can plan for 5 people. And if you need more space, we can offer you our guest room in our own house, with another queen-size bed and a second, completely separate shower room.
BATHROOM 1 TOILETS
This room, with its earthenware and tiles, tells part of our story, and we’d be delighted to tell you all about it.
A walk-in shower with a “rain” jet is a delight after a summer’s day. We always provide some sanitary products for you to use during your stay.
The mirror is adjustable in intensity and has an “anti-fog” mode.
The washbasin is always a bit of a surprise… it was suggested to us by a small company in La Richardais, a few kilometres away, which we particularly like.
And our towels, delicately prepared by Linvosges, should wrap you in softness when you wake up or return from the beach.
KITCHEN
During our many travels, we often found that we didn’t have enough space and the right equipment in the kitchen of our accommodation, so that we could be comfortable and indulge ourselves.
At Cancale, between sea and land, everything has been thought of for epicureans. At Ker Neizh too, of course.
You should find almost everything you need to prepare a convivial, tasty meal with friends or family. You’ll find a full range of groceries, all sizes of plates, a complete kitchenware set, an assortment of glasses for every occasion, household linen, and much more…
All you have to do is treat yourself. How about a plate of oysters, ready for your arrival, to get your holidays off to a good start?
LIVING ROOM
The lounge furniture is designed for outdoor use. You can easily move it to the terrace when the weather permits.
An additional bench can be added if required.
If you wish, we can provide you with a “FatBoy”, as well as outdoor lighting for your summer evening.
We’ve fitted a blackout blind in front of the front door to keep the light out of the mezzanine.
You’ll probably be able to work out which buttons turn which lights on! There are a few surprises between the ground floor and the mezzanine…
THE VERANDA
Our veranda gives access to our two flats. It becomes a space that we share during your stay.
You’re free to use it as a place to sit and eat, to leave your belongings when you return from the beach, or to put your shoes down after hiking the GR34, for example.
We also offer this space for sharing breakfast or a meal together*.
We recommend that you lock the veranda with the key on your key ring.

At high tide, swimming! At low tide, fishing (on foot)!
